meet the Owner and Designer of Linda's Decors

Hi, I’m Linda Woodard!

I’m the founder and lead designer of Linda’s Decors.

I work with New England and North Shore window treatment homeowners, that are ready to transform one room or an entire house into the home of their dreams.

I understand every room and window is different and choosing the right custom window treatments can have its challenges. This goes beyond simply selecting blinds or shades, measuring for drapes, and not to mention the installation process! This is your home – a direct reflection of you and ultimately a reflection of me. I’ll carefully guide you in selecting the perfect solution and you’ll see your home come together with beautiful fabrics, thoughtfully coordinated solutions, and a design plan that ensures every window complements your home and your life.

My hand-selected behind the scenes team is dedicated to superb craftsmanship and the highest quality. Together, we’ll guarantee every detail, from our first interaction through the final installation.

I’d love to meet you and complete the story of your home.

kind words from our north shore window treatments clients
When we moved into this house 20 years ago, Linda helped us with our window treatments. We chose room darkening shades and light filtering shades for the different bedrooms in our home. We had a problem with two of the shades. Linda was very attentive and responsive and resolved the issue immediately. We highly recommend her for both high quality products and fantastic service after the sale!

As busy professionals, we have always appreciated Linda’s excellent suggestions and the way she helps us zero in efficiently on the best options for us. Window Treatments Tailored to Your North Shore Lifestyle

The North Shore of Massachusetts offers a unique blend of coastal New England charm, historic richness, and a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. Known for its many seaside towns, maritime history, and vibrant arts scene, it has a strong community feel and welcoming vibe.

I always enjoy and gain great inspiration from being so close to the water and soaking in the communities and beaches the North Shore has to offer. When working with North Shore window treatments clients, I love exploring the Tannery Marketplace where a fine dining and shopping experience awaits. You never know what you’ll find!

When I’m in need of a bite to eat and a delicious meal, I dine at the Sea Level Oyster Bar in Newburyport or the 1606 Restaurant & Bar in Gloucester.

For historic sites and for a great day trip, I recommend the Peabody Essex Museum, Castle Hill on the Crane Estate (I get excited just dreaming up all the possibilities for the window treatments in this 59-room mansion!), and of course, The House of Seven Gables.

Together, we’ll select window treatments for your North Shore home that inspire a coastal element and reflect your personality!
